Askernish is without doubt one of Scotland's true hidden gems.
It is a golf course of such surreal beauty that you feel as though
you are left to play it all by yourself. Located on the island on
South Uist it is, of course, reasonably difficult to get to, but
anytime you do happen to take the time to visit what is essentially
a beautiful part of Scotland, make sure you pack the clubs, because
this little nine-holer is simply too good to miss. The welcoming
from the locals is memorable and the views are second to none.
Simply an unforgettable experience.
