The natural links course of Fraserburgh in the North East of
Scotland has a variety of different types of holes providing a very
interesting and enjoyable game of golf. The views over the course
are splendid with the panoramic view from the 3rd tee offering the
visitor a spectacular view of sand, sea, links and the Buchan
landscape. Records from the National Library of Scotland show that
Fraserburgh Golf Club was founded in 1777 making it the 7th oldest
club in the world. It moved to its present location in 1891 and in
1922 James Braid redesigned the course and much of his design
remains today.
