Situated just four miles north west of the city centre of
Aberdeen is this delightful layout. Hazelhead Public Courses are
home to three courses, No.1, No.2 and No.3, the latter being a
nifty little nine holer. Hazelhead No.1, however, is generally
regarded as one of the finest courses in the northeast of Scotland.
Dr Alister Mackenzie, the man responsible for the treacherous
Augusta National, designed the course. Essentially, it provides a
real test of your shot making skills with gorse and woodland the
hazards for any wayward shots. Spend too much time enjoying the
scenery, and you could pay the price. There are reduced rates for
juniors, students and those who wish to play twilight golf.
