This pretty 18-hole course on the Moray coast features Paul
Lawrie's favourite par 3 hole, the dramatic 12th, called
'Prieshach'. Ryder Cup hero and 1999 Open champion Lawrie played at
Hopeman as a boy. Many of the fairways at Hopeman are jealously
guarded by gorse and broom, the bloom on which is an additional
attraction during the summer months.
