COURSE DETAILS
Close to the sands of Stravannan Bay on Bute's west coast, Bute
Golf Club's 9 hole course provides a delightful location in a rural
setting with the dramatic backdrop of the mountains of Arran.
Change at the road end throw the golf bag over the shoulder and
proceed to walk through Quochag farm. After a five minute walk
through a couple of fields you get to the last gate that gets you
into the course. Our club house is a very quaint small cabin. An
honesty box is located at the door where you should deposit your
green fee. The course makes its way from the club house to the sea,
offering wonderful views of Arran. You will notice that the fact
that the livestock from the farm have grazing rights to the course
and that the fencing around the greens makes it very interesting
and different. If you use your imagination you can imagine being
out here with old hickorys & guttys just as they did at the
turn of the century.
Open all year, all day (no visitors on Saturdays before 1130).
£10.00 per day, juniors £4.00 per day.
