Course Details
It may be the shorter of the two courses at Dalmahoy, but the West
is certainly no pushover. It features tight fairways, deep, thick
rough and a number of hard greens that players will struggle to
control their ball on.
To succeed you must be fairly accurate from the tee, although a
little course management, or local knowledge, can be a useful
weapon.
At the par three 16th, a miniscule hole that's nothing more than
a light wedge, you must clear the river before the green and land
firmly on the putting surface. Go through the back, however, and
you're in the rough, on a steep hill, and facing a nightmarish
return
