Documentary evidence shows that golf was played on Musselburgh
links as far back as 1672 although it is suggested that Mary, Queen
of Scots played golf here in 1567. The Open was held over the
course six times and five local golfers won the competition eleven
times between them. Sample the delights of this famous 9 hole
course with hickory or modern clubs. Visitors are always
