Situated in quiet village of Ballachulish, with
village store and pub/restaurant in walking distance, just a mile
from Glencoe village and surrounding lochs & mountains.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 Double & 1 Twin
Room with full facilities for a wonderful holiday, home from home,
beautifully furnished throughout with everything you would require.
Lounge, Dining /Kitchen.
Ideally situated for any outdoor activities you
may care to try, walking, climbing, ski-ing, boating, water
ski-ing, cycling, swimming, almost anything at all including horse
& pony trekking, go carts, quad bikes etc.
Ideal for keen photographers, the views are
tremendous in any weather, a different outlook every day. The mood
changes in the glens almost every hour especially during the winter
months when we do get some wonderful glistening water falls.
The wildlife is truly a pleasure to see, from the
deer and highland cattle to the wonderful array of wild birds,
including the beautiful Golden eagle.
Why not take a trip up Ben Nevis in the Gondolas?
The views are a wonder to behold, look over to Skye & the
Cullens or take a trip on the West Highland steam train to the
wonderful fishing village of Mallaig.
Ballachulish has some history of it’s own, with
it’s very own slate quarry, obviously closed for some years now,
but very interesting to read about and walk through all the
same.
Ballachulish is also situated to give you maximum
choice of where you would like to visit as it is situated midway
between Fort William and Oban, both area’s a delight to visit with
their many tourist attractions and restaurants & take
aways.
A leisurely drive can be taken to both areas with
wonderful views of the lochs & mountains all around with many
photographic opportunities along the way.
