The Golf Hotel, situated in the heart of the
historic town of Crail, is reputed to be one of the oldest licensed
Inns in Scotland. Tradition has it that there has been an Inn on
the site since early 14th century.
The hotel has been carefully refurbished to keep
the special features of the old hotel but providing guests with
comfortable, modern facilities.
The Royal and Ancient borough of Crail is famed
for its quiet and unspoiled charm. The old harbour and the houses
with their crow-stepped gables have attracted artists and
photographers for many years, the harbour being the most
photographed in Scotland.
The village has plenty of amenities to entertain
all ages with a bowling green, 2 beaches, 2 golf courses and
coastal walks.
