The Old Bakery is a beautifully renovated former bakehouse set in the picturesque town of Crieff in rural Perthshire.

The property has been developed into two separate units The Oven House and The Granary an eight bed and a six bed. Both benefit from Sky TV, luxurious bathrooms, dining kitchens and original artwork, Persian Rugs and art glassware throughout.

The properties can be rented separately or combined to accommodate up to 14 people. Being centrally located you are within easy walking distance of numerous pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Crieff and the surrounding area offer a multitude of different activities from golf and fishing to Theatre and museums. Should you have any special requirements or would just like some advice on what’s on locally, we, Simon and Shelagh would be more than happy to help

The Oven House

The larger of the two properties the Oven House is so called as it housed the original ovens manufactured by one James Cruikshank  ‘Master Oven Builder’.  Unfortunately, the ovens themselves could not be saved, but one set of the original doors have been and are wall mounted on the internal courtyard garden.

The property during renovation was taken back to just the walls and has been rebuilt to modern building standards, incorporating a state of the art home cabling system allowing flexible TV distribution throughout the property and PC connections in all rooms.

The property has an interesting feel about it and along with the large kitchen has two areas that can be utilised for ‘Al Fresco’ Dining, an internal courtyard and a large decked area off the master bedroom.

The property is furnished to a high standard with contemporary furnishings as well as Persian rugs and original oil paintings.

The Granary

Although smaller than the other property this house is still very spacious and benefits from an open plan living room kitchen dining area. The same high level of finish is evident with an outside decked area for those summer BBQ’s or just for enjoying the long evenings.

Both properties have off road parking for up to  two cars and being set back off the High Street, are fairly private and quiet.
