The Accommodation

Accommodation at Cornerstone Cottage is situated on the ground floor and suitable for all age groups, it has a conservatory, double-glazing throughout and electric central heating, which also provides domestic hot water.

Electricity and heating are fully included in the tariff along with all bedding linen, towels etc (Ironing board and iron are also included).

For your enjoyment, Cornerstone Cottage offers well-appointed 2-bed accommodation (Maximum Occupancy 6) with an array of amenities that allows you to enjoy the most of our scenery whilst relaxing.

This traditional cottage benefits from its conservatory overlooking the walled garden. The cottage is completely self-contained with lawned garden offering privacy, along with ample car parking and B-B-Q, ideal for families with children.

In addition, the amenities also comprise: 2- Beds - 1 X Master Bedroom (Double), 1 X Double Twin Beds; 1 x Sofa Bed; WC / Shower Room with WHB; Open Plan Kitchen Diner; Lounge with sofa-bed; Modern fitted dining/kitchen; cooker; microwave; fridge/freezer; washing machine; dishwasher; coffee maker; all other kitchen utensils/crockery; Lounge with T.V, DVD player and CD/radio player, Tumble Dryer. The Area

Situated within the foothills of the Grampian Highlands, Aberdeenshire, Rhynie is a small, quite village surrounded by countryside and highlands of outstanding scenic value.

Cornerstone Cottage is well placed for touring the ‘Castle’ and ‘Whisky’ Trails and is conveniently placed as a centre point for visiting all major North East Scotland tourist attractions. 

Rhynie lies close to the castle & ‘familiy town’ of Huntly (9mls), the whisky distillery town of Dufftown (18mls); Alford Transport Museum (11mls), Aberdeen (37 mls) and Inverness (60mls) the Moray Firth coastline lies approximately 35 mls.

Your nearest supermarket shopping is Huntly, (3 large supermarkets - ASDA, Tesco, Somerfields), catering  for all your grocery and holiday needs (Tesco also availbale for all fuel).

In Rhynie, Huntly, Inverurie & Dufftown there are of restaurants and pubs etc and nearby Kildrummy Castle Hotel offers a ‘Taste of Scotland’ fine dining.
