Built as the grand baroque home for Edinburgh’s
Lord Provost in 1687, Prestonfield is the city’s most individual
hotel, as you would expect from its owner - James Thomson the
creator of the famed Witchery by the Castle.
In the 4 years since its lavish restoration, it
has been named as Hotel of the Year, Scotland’s Most Romantic Hotel
and as one of the top 101 Hotels in the World by Tatler/
Abercrombie & Kent.
Totally sumptuous and indulgent in every way,
Prestonfield has just 22 individually-decorated rooms and suites as
well as romantic gardens, stunning public rooms, bars, salons,
terraces, private dining rooms and Rhubarb, its destination
restaurant.
Each of Prestonfield’s rooms and suites is
individually furnished with antiques and exceptional decor, all in
Prestonfield’s trademark opulent and indulgent style and every room
features views over the landscaped gardens, parkland or the
adjacent golf course.
