The Anchor Hotel has great atmosphere and
charm and overlooks the attractive Urr Estuary and Yachting Marina.
A wide variety of beer and local real ales available and we serve
food from midday to 9.30pm during the summer months.
As well as a main menu we also have a Daily
Specials Board. We have a public bar, non-smoking lounge and a
family and games room and children are particularly welcome. The
accommodation that we can offer is twin bedded, double family and
single rooms all of which are en-suite.
We are situated one mile from Dalbeattie
Forest and the Seven Stanes Tracks, which are rapidly becoming one
of the most popular mountain biking venues in Scotland. Storage
facilities for mountain bikes with washing and drying facilities
are also available to the visitor.
