Craigielands Country Park provides
holidaymakers with an idyllic 56 acres rural parkland setting
including a 6.5 acre Loch which has been stocked with both brown
and rainbow trout. Open from 1 March to the 6 January.
The Pine Tavern Public House is located close
to the park entrance and successfully serves both park customers
and the local community. The Tavern provides an extensive bar,
entertainment room and a variety of food is available.
Dumfries & Galloway is one of the easiest
parts of Scotland to reach, being just over the border from
England. The quiet country roads of the region make driving a
pleasure with over 200 miles of coastline, wild mountains and
moorlands, pretty towns and charming villages. There are also
numerous golf courses throughout the region from 9 hole to 18 hole
