Only 3 miles from the M74 (J15),Hartfell House is a splendid Victorian 'B' listed property set in a designated 'Outstanding Conservation Area'. The house boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, yet is only a four minute walk from the attractive town centre.

A stunning manor house, the building is known locally for its fine interior woodwork. Accommodation is provided in eight spacious and tastefully furnished bedrooms, each with en suite facilities and a large guest lounge is available on our first floor providing an atmosphere of peaceful relaxation.

All bedrooms are equipped with TV, radio alarm, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. In addition we offer our guests access to a computer in our reception area with complimentary broadband internet access.

The house stands in gardens of lawns and trees and is situated in a cul-de-sac with a private parking bay providing six spaces conveniently located opposite the house.

A full Scottish breakfast is cooked to order and a continental buffet is also provided in our magnificent dining room. Home baked bread, wholemeal pancakes, croissants, freshly ground coffee and a selection of speciality teas are on offer to complement the cereals, fruits and fresh juices.

Now incorporating the Limetree Restaurant - a charismatic blend of modern and traditional cooking with Scottish and global influence. Chef Matt Seddon brings his culinary skills to Hartfell House. The restaurant has already been awarded a coveted AA Rosette Dining Award. We look forward to welcoming our guests for a memorable dinner.

Family run, Rob and Mhairi will make every effort to use their combined experience of five star hotels in Edinburgh and London to make your stay at Hartfell House as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
