Built in 1874 as a home for the Factor of the
Estate of Lockerbie, Ravenshill had been converted to a family run
hotel retaining many traditional features.
We aim for a warm friendly relaxed air at
Ravenshill. We are easy to find from the A74 motorway situated on
the A709 in our own grounds with private parking, in a quiet
residential area, 5 minutes walk west of the town centre.
We have 8 individual double/twin and
family rooms with modern facilities, there is even a four poster
for that special occasion. We can offer two adjoining rooms for
larger families. Excellent food is served in the cosy bar and in
the non-smoking dining room in the evenings.
On Friday night, there is a popular Carvery
featuring fresh local produce. With numerous golf courses, an
increasing number of walking and cycling paths and a variety things
to see and do locally, we are an ideal base for a relaxing short
break.
