in the heart of a quaint Historic Ayrshire Village surrounded by
the Ayrshire Uplands.
As a recently and lovingly converted Victorian
sandstone Church this Bed and Breakfast offers a friendly bespoke
service to all their guests. As well as the two Bedrooms available
this large home also boasts a spacious private sitting room with a
multi-fuel stove.
This family-run Bed and Breakfast also plays
host to an array of contemporary artwork by owner and resident
artist Lesley Martin, who works from her studio within The Old
Church. Lesley’s artwork in various media, including oils, acrylics
and mixed media are available to purchase.
Situated within the heart of the Ayrshire
Uplands The Old Church is in a prime location for many outdoor
activities such as Walking, Angling, Golfing and Shooting. The
village also has its own race track (Kames Motor complex) for the
motor enthusiast.
As well as local landmarks such as the Cairn
Table monument (a sight for walkers and hill runners alike), there
is also Glenbuck Loch, Tibbies Brig , to name but a few, other
Local attractions include The Robert Burns Museum, Culzean Castle,
The Dick Institute, The Baird Institute and The River Ayr
Walkway.
The Village also hosts the first Audio Visual
Trail of its kind in Scotland and a wonderful Local Musuem.
