There has been an inn here since at least 1785 and the present family has been here since 1912. In terms of history, then, it doesn't get much better. Although not much of the original building remains it still boasts terrific views of the Perthshire Hills.
The course is of heathland nature and features water hazards, stocked with trout, which come into play on numerous occasions.
