The Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles has produced a series of outstanding winners since its inception in 1999, including Adam Scott, Paul Casey and Pierre Fulke. Once again this event will be played over the PGA Centenary Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus himself back in the late 1980s and which is the venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup. From the back tees, the course measures 7,088 yards and is the longest inland course in Scotland. Fittingly, the PGA Centenary Course begins by playing southeast towards the famed glen of the eagles sweeping up the Ochil Hills to the summit of the pass below Ben Shee which joins it to Glendevon. Alterations have been made to holes 4, 6, 7 and 8, in the last 12 months to strengthen an already demanding test. For further information and to book tickets click on the weblink below.
