East Lothian Nostalgic Rail Tour

Duration: 3 days

Itinerary - South East

Since the 1930's, North Berwick has been synonymous with early poster campaigns to attract golfers to links courses using the British railway system.

North Berwick GC (West Links)
Only five minutes from the station, this Open qualifying venue is one of the best and most scenic links courses in Scotland. The course is sprinkled with top-notch holes and rewards strategy and guile rather than power hitting.

Glen
The East Links in North Berwick combines inland turf with a seaside setting. Every hole offers the golfer a different perspective of the Firth of Forth, with views dominated by the Bass Rock. Elevated tees and greens across the course mean that careful club selection, consistency and confidence in iron play are vital.

Whitekirk Golf & Country Club
This is one of the area's newest courses and it is notable for its lush fairways, tricky greens and stunning views. The undulating contours and terrain present an excellent challenge for all players and Whitekirk is now a regular venue for championship events on the Sky televised PGA Europro Tour.
