The views from Routenburn and West Kilbride across the Firth of Clyde are breathtaking. At Stranraer visitors can play the last course the master architect designed in his long and distinguished career, while at Ayr Belleisle there is to be found one of the finest municipal golf courses in existence.
At Irvine visitors have a chance to relive the famous match between James Braid and Frenchman, Arnaud Massy, against J.H. Taylor and Abe Mitchell christened "The Auld Enemy" against "The Auld Alliance".
