Sam Torrance's Ryder Cup
By
Sam Torrance

The finish of the 2010 Ryder Cup could not have
been better scripted. To have the entire result coming down to the
last singles match was fantastic. As was the fact that all 12
players earned half a point or more. That meant that none of them
could feel like they hadn’t done enough.
I loved Graeme McDowell’s comment about winning
the US Open feeling like a Monday morning round at Royal Portrush
with his Dad, in comparison to the excitement of the Ryder Cup.
It’s one of those things that you could never imagine quite what
it’s like, you have to experience it.
I can’t wait for Scotland 2014. Hopefully the US
Tour can sort out the Fedex Cup dates and we will get to play it a
few weeks earlier too. That should be perfect.
